Agriculture Bursary

Education In Ag

The Grey County Federation of Agriculture (GCFA) represents approximately 1500 farm families in Grey County and our mission is to work toward economic growth and community sustainability for Grey County farmers. GCFA feels it is important to support our youth interested in pursuing an education and career in agriculture.

Criteria

The Agriculture Bursary is to be awarded to a graduating high school student who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, integrity and dedication to agriculture.

  • The recipient has chosen to continue study in agriculture in post secondary education (college or university).

  • The student must be a Grey County resident.

  • If the school does not have a graduate who meets the above criteria this year, the bursary will not be presented.
